Dear Parent/Guardian:

Your child has been selected to participate in the region science fair in Mitchell, SD on Tuesday March 22nd, 2011. The bus will leave from school at 9:45 . We will stop at Culver's Restaurant to eat dinner and then proceed to the fair.  The bus will return sometime between 6:00 and 7:00 depending on how long it takes to eat supper. Your child should bring enough money to eat both dinner and supper. They should also bring along a book to read or some homework as they need to be by their project for about 2 1/2 hours. A reminder for students is there is NO food allowed in the gym. Water/pop with a cap will be fine. Finally, we ask that the students dress appropriately, preferably Khaki pants and a nice shirt. The students should also check with Mr. Kuhlman on Monday March 21st to make sure he has everything they need at their project. The van will be loaded with all of the projects on Monday night (3/21) and then Mr. Kuhlman will set them up Tuesday morning at the fair.  In order for your child to participate we need a signed permission slip stating they are allowed to go on this trip.  This is located at the bottom of this form. Please fill this out, sign it, and return it to Mr. Kuhlman or Mrs.VanGerpen. We would like to thank your child for all of their hard work on their project and wish them the best of luck at Regions!
